I like how you said Charr "realised too late" as if it would have put him off.
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
On a frost giant slave galley, in the far frozen north, one Uthgardt barbarian nudges his oar-mate.
"Look to the sky, brother, I believe it's one of those adventurers our dear brother Truss mentioned he's travelling with."
"Dear, sweet Truss, how I enjoyed his letters home, before we were captured and forced to spend our days rowing ourselves to death for these giants."
"Yes, he was always so enthusiastic about his companions, and his wife and children would never have survived without the money he sent home every week."
"Not to mention that our poor old, blind mum would live to hear his tales of their adventures, the only enjoyment left to her in this life."
"Look brother, the adventurer is opening his mouth. Perhaps he bears news of noble Truss?"
Both: "AAAIIIIIEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

So sad for his friends to not know of Truss' demise at the hands of people all too willing to push buttons on machines they know very little about. ¬_¬
Besides, it was dark, nobody would know that I wasn't an actual dragon until I was illuminated by their burning flesh and surroundings.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
I'm free any day except tonight - I think we suggested Wednesday or Thursday as possibilities?
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Yes, either should be fine.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
I can do tomorrow but would prefer Thursday.
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Either should be okay for me.
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Let’s aim for Thursday then.
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Everyone good for tonight?
I noticed yesterday that roll20 have changed the pan/zoom controls, which threw me at first even though it's better. Now you can mouse-scroll to zoom in and out and right-click to pan around. Works pretty well.
EDIT - Never mind, they've rolled back the change for now.

Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
Sorry guys, I've had to stay at work late and I'm not sure what time I'll be home.
Re: The return of the D&D campaign: This time it's potatoes
No worries - this gives me time to implement a potential dungeon I had an idea about today.
