Meeples Corner are great. I've bought plenty of games from them over the last few years. Very friendly guys and they do very reasonable prices.

I found one store who are offering pre-orders that will be available in February next year. Perhaps its getting a reprint.

Maybe worth shooting the publisher a wee email before splurging unnecessarily.

Nice, thanks for that MM, definitely worth a go.

Edit: done, fired them an email so will see what they say.
I heard back :D

Hi Alan,

Thanks for reaching out to us. Stuffed Fables is scheduled for a reprint early February! So I expect stores will have it by end of February. Hope that helps!

Nice one. Now all that's required is a little patience. :)

It worked out... kinda.

Yesterday, my mother-in-law put £100 into my account to buy their Christmas presents to the kids as they didn't know what to get... to my credit I did wait almost 10 minutes before ordering Stuffed Fables

Will do.

FWIW, we've been greatly enjoying Dragonwood, which I gave to her on her birthday (gotta love it when those birthdays and xmas are a fortnight apart!). I would think yours are too old MM, but for anyone with youngsters in that 7-11 kinda range it's great fun.

If anyone's interested, I've started doing a play-test/run-through of Advanced Hero Quest: Prince of Persia Edition here.
Going back to Advanced Heroquest, I found a pdf online of the original scanned boardgame tiles, so I've been playing around with it to see how it looks (haven't done the doors or stairs yet). Later in the year at some point, and if there's enough peeps on here who are interested, I might run another quest - I think the previous one worked a lot better than the Space Crusade forum game I ran.

Behold...

Cool, I've noted both your interest for whenever the time comes. Ideally it would be 4 of you! Although I guess we might have to face the possibility of there not being enough people to make up the numbers. The place isn't quite as busy as it was in August '18 when we did the glorious Dragomir quest. So we'll just treat it as something that might/might not happen.

Back then we were doing it during the daytime as well as the evenings, but I don't get the feeling that's possible any more (with the exception of myself & Sly). So it would probably have to be an arranged evening a week or something, similar to the D&D thread.

Animalmother, when you get the chance I'd recommend having a look through the Dragomir quest thread on page 4 of this folder, just to give you an idea of how the game plays. Turns are much, much quicker than Space Crusade since you only control your hero (and possibly a henchman). It's only 1175 pages long.

I'd be willing to partake also. Although I'd probably need my hand held quite substantially as I've not touched Hero Quest since I was maybe 10.

Of course if someone more capable comes along feel free to sub me out. :)

Don't worry Medicine Man, I'll hold your hand and treat you sweetly. And I'll help you out with the rules too.

So that's 3 Ayes and 1 Maybe. Something for me to think about - it probably won't be till Spring, I'm in the process of sorting out some back problems and other stuff at the moment.

If anybody else is really interested in having a go, please add your name! Would be handy to have someone to take Animalmother's spot if he isn't definitely into it. Plus it would give me an idea of who'd be up for future quests. I've often thought it's the sort of thing Wrathbone would be interested in, and Doug of course. I think The Jackal also showed some interest once.

EDIT: Here's our last quest, if you're interested in reading up on how it went down:

Doug seems to be on hiatus right now, but good chance he'll be active again by spring. Maybe :?

Doug's a classic forum hibernator.

He's was active up until mid-December, which is to be expected what with the mild Winter and all. So like you say Sly we should see him surface around mid-March or perhaps April, fully revitalised and ready for more Prince of Persia.

:)
