Yes, Terence decides he can do more while Gibnar blocks the door way.

Looks like the Orcs' turn then.

The Orcs move to surround Bellis on all sides. One wounded Champion to the south of him, the other Orc Champion to the north, and the surviving Orc Warrior to the East. The Orc Warlord remains at the rear of the room, guarding the Halfling.

Spoiler

The Orc Warrior attacks. Bellis parries.

The wounded Orc Champion attacks. Bellis parries.

The other Orc Champion attacks. Bellis parries.

Bellis is a good fighter. -_-

And that's back to the HERO PHASE...

Bellis MVP :o

Question before my turn, can I, from any of the available positions, chuck my fireball in to target the orc champ north of Bellis? If not, is it possible if I was standing where Gibnar is?

If you were standing where Gibnar is, you could target the Orc Champ north of Bellis, but if you targeted him, you might also cook Bellis. ¬_¬

If you were standing where Gibnar is, you could target the Orc Warrior to the East of Bellis (over Bellis' shoulder) and possibly cook ALL the Orcs (and Bellis) in that area in one go.

But you can't do anything to the Orcs in the room right now room unless Gibnar gets out of your way.

Oh, can I not target an empty tile then that would get that orc? I was thinking about the tile NE of the northern orc champ.

Nay, for the Orc Champ blocks your line of site to that tile.

Okay. my idea...

1. Gibnar attacks the wounded champion with his spear to try and knock his health down a bit. Then moves one step south.
2. Bellis attacks the wounded champion and finishes him off, then moves south somewhere. (He can move out of death zones once already in them)
3. Terence then gets stuck in, moving into Bellis' old position, attacking one of the others.
4. Paulox maybe does something with a spell if possible.

If Bellis can get out of a death zone, maybe Gibby goes first and unblocks the door, Bellis attacks then retreats through the doorway, then I throw in a fireball that catches all three of those orcs?

Edit: You'd then be free to rush in and finish off any of them left standing (I wouldn't need to stand in the doorway tile to cast the spell).

That's a good idea. Then I go last and get stuck in to one of them.

Hurrah, a plan! And it even sounds like a fairly decent one

So Gibnar will attack then retreat, Bellis attack and retreat, Paulox move into position and cast Fireball, then Terence move in to attack any survivors?

Yes, I think that sounds like a good plan (famous last words).

Okay, if you could give me some very clear instructions as to where Gibnar and Bellis retreat to after attacking, that'd be appreciated.

Remember, in Combat Mode, you can only move up to your Speed value.

It's bound to work flawlessly!

Our high weapon skill stats are saving us here so far. Our toughness and wounds are actually pretty poor though, so we could be in for a battering if one of them scores a hit...
