I managed to do this to myself hefting heavy boxes around the last time we moved. It took a year, and a painful steroid injection into the joint, to fully heal. During that time it was constant pain, and I had to sleep in a special wrist support with metal bit to immobilise the hand while I slept, and I couldn't lift or do anything with that hand. Luckily it was my left, so I could still write and do most things that only required one functioning arm.

I cannot stress it enough, do not try that >_<
