Bought that ~ 3 months ago and it has been great.

I came from a 1440p / 60hz but decided to go 1080p / 144hz because reasons.

It's shite (comparatively speaking) for productivity, but for gaming there's no comparison. Recommended.

That does look pretty sweet! I meant to buy a monitor this week but have ended up rarely being at the PC. I'll have to fetch the tape measure to see if 27" will sit nicely enough with my other desk items.

I'm actually thinking that this seems a pretty good monitor. Anyone have anything to say about Acer's gear?

They are very good. Some models tend to be better produced than others, so double check which type you're getting. But generally the ones that don't have annoying defects are very well received.

I'm eyeing up a 27" 1440p IPS g-sync one ready for when I build my new rig.

Have this myself, cracking monitor.

After lots of digging around, I went for this one in the end. It should be with me next week.

Thanks all for the assistance.

Post when you've got it and I'll toss you the improved icc colour profile they mentioned in that review.

That's my monitor arrived. I won't have time to set it up until after work tomorrow but I had a look to check that the screen was intact. It's pretty and the perfect size for my desk space.
