Now, you still have some options here; you can move into position so at the beginning of the following turn search for treasure inside the room, or search both the room and dead end for secret doors. (But you need to start the turn already in position to do that).

Don't worry, the monsters are there, and the more rooms you find, the more & more likely large rooms with enemies will be found.

Well, probably makes sense for Gamrolin to enter the room with myself, then next turn after that he and I will search for treasure and secrets in whichever order, while Bellis looks for secret doors in the hallway?

Isn't there a chance when we search for things that we may discover hidden enemies? If so, might be better to do everything together. If not, I'll go down the corridor and look for any hidden doors.
