Isn't there a chance when we search for things that we may discover hidden enemies? If so, might be better to do everything together. If not, I'll go down the corridor and look for any hidden doors.
I think so (which I why suggested pairing myself with Doug and you with Angron as being two fairly evenly matched groups then), although sticking altogether is fine with me also.

Actually, there's a small chance I could pull a dungeon counter - which could in turn be a small chance of wandering monsters, but it's a slim chance.

Well, let's all pile into the room then in preparation for searching it, it would be good to sort out our formation as we leave in any case.

Just give me a rough approximation of where you want to stand and I'll make it so.

Um, okay.

Let's take up a position in the six squares fairly central - Gamrolin 3N and 1W, and his henchman on the tile below him. Then me next to Gamrolin and Angron below me, then Bellis and his henchman to our right, Bellis N and henchman S of the two. Basically in 2x3 rectangle in the near-centre of the room.

No, I meant inside the room. Isn't that where we were to start with?

So, it's DM's go next, right?

On our turn I guess we look for secrets and treasure, not sure if anyone has any strong preference to do either of those things themselves?

Okay so that's the end of that phase.

On my GM phase, I roll nothing.

So we have a new Exploration turn where one of you can search for hidden treasure, rolling 2 x D12.

And 2 others can search a wall each for secret doors, each rolling 1 x D12.

Perhaps do it so it leaves some of you spare to move into the dead end? Assuming you want to search the dead end next turn.

I'll head over there, don't I have bonuses for searching for hidden doors due to my dwarven expertise?

It's +2 for spotting and disarming traps, so it makes no difference for searching for secret doors.

Is there any purpose to searching the dead-end? Isn't it just above the stairs where we came in?

Edit: In any case, I shall search for treasure. I roll a 10 and a 6.

All dead ends have a chance of revealing secret doors into rooms - it's the two 5-long side-facing walls which doors can be found.
