So this comes out next week. It doesn't sound like the beta set the world alight, but as it's free on Gamepass, does anyone fancy getting a group together to give it a try?

I had a quick spin through Act 1 with some randoms and promptly wiped out on the finale just trying to get across the bridge. Needless to say, no coordination and teammates dilly dallying behind the pack make for a disaster at crucial rush segments like that.

I'm still very unsure about the replayability coming from the director playing cards, as all they seem to do is spawn slight variations on the special infected.

The tallboy grabber one is quite irritatingly designed as you can never seem to burst him down with a single clip of ammunition.

Very solid feeling shooting though. Looking forward to partying up and seeing what the later levels look like.

Played for a bit with bots. They aren't terrible and you don't have to babysit them constantly. They will stand directly in front of you if try using a turret though. Plus they never shut the fuck up.

Played a bit with some rando and we got pulverised by the first big ogre monster.
