I know it has cross play but don't know how to get that to work. Not about this evening anyway so have fun.

I don't think I could do pre-6, after 7 would be best really

Shall we look to gather on Discord around 7 then?

So, how do you connect in the game? Do we need to all add each other to our Game Pass friend lists?

It links to your Xbox login the first time you launch so I assume it'll be through the friends list on there. Game Pass online isn't always the most stable though.

Mine is FriskyDingo600 if it's visible to PC people. As I said I'm not available today but let us know how it goes.

Just be aware when your playing that the jump from rookie to the next up veteran difficulty is a bastard.

Yeah, it's decent isn't it. Good, meaty weaponry (although I wasn't impressed with the auto shotgun I found, but then the perceived lack of range is a pretty big downside in a game like this), the obvious weak points on the special enemies make for a fun test of accuracy, and it's chaotic enough to make for an entertaining co-op game. The levels feel a bit short, but there look to be quite a few of them.

I expect the levels will feel a lot longer when we up the difficulty. From what I recall of the beta, even going one level above Recruit made for quite a challenging experience.

Worth mentioning. Every time you complete a level you unlock extra supply points. On the main hub area you can access the 'Supply Lines' screen by either talking to the woman with the cowboy hat or through the pause tabs. Each supply line lets you buy new cards for your decks with your earned points, completing a line replaces it with a new one of even stronger cards that are similarly themed. For instance, I just bought everything in the first line to get increased bullet damage and penetration and the line that has replaced it includes cards with even bigger bullet damage buffs.

I don't know how many cards there are in total, but there are certainly enough that you can create decks themed around specific builds, like a great team healer or a super strong melee bruiser for example.
