When I changed the hours I work it sadly meant that I very rarely manage to get on at the right time, so I've not played in a while either. Talking about the game has rather made me want to play again though, so should we try and set up a time?

As much of a fan of the original Ghost Recon as I am—and as much as I long for an updated graphics version with that fireteam planning and command on the move plotting—Wildlands and Breakpoint are sublime games in their own right. The level of control over how much or little information and aid you have, the gunroom, and the level of difficulty options, really transform how you play the game. I've now completed both and just tickle along with the BP daily faction missions with everything turned off and it still is addictive and challenging, and random enough, to be fun. If they could add in some of the tactical AI fireteam planning of the original—a 2 man scout-sniper overwatch team, a 3-man counter approach team, to aid your own 3-man insertion, all choreographed by an on-the-move waypoint command screen, then they really will have cracked it for single player.
Everything on the internet is 100% true.

I'll try and hop on for a session if you chaps are still managing to sneak any in at some point. I literally only managed to turn up for one afternoon when I last tried a few months ago.
Totally up for this, shall we try and organise it on Discord?

A bit of good news from me: I'm starting a new job, back here at home in Florida, and will be hopefully settling in for the long haul to retirement. I'm done with the travel nursing. My schedule will be more predictable as well. I'm looking forward to more Breakpoint with the boys - because we take the game to another level, together

I'd definitely be up for more full squad coop if we can sychronise our schedules. Even though I only managed two sessions with you fellas it was really good fun. I have Wildlands now too, but honestly - even though it definitely has things that were better - overall I prefer playing Breakpoint.

Also, boo-hiss at this battle royale pish.

The Discord has a game organising channel, I've stuck my availability in there.

Yeah the QOL improvements they have made has made Breakpoint the better game. The enemies are more fallible and the AI better, which is a big factor.

The public technical test for the new Ghost Recon battle royale game has been indefinitely postponed after the huge negative response they had to the announcement.

How much money did they waste on development and plugging that announcement trailer without even taking the time to ask Ghost Recon fans whether they even wanted a BR style game I wonder.

Yeah, the announcement trailer has three times as many dislikes as likes on Youtube, with every comment I read sharing the same disappointment in the direction of the franchise that we all had. You have to wonder whether they bothered doing any market research before that announcement.

Re: Breakpoint - I've had a little time to do some gaming again lately. Spent a while wandering around the southwestern islands, picking flowers & oysters, taking out patrols, practicing my long-distance sniping (best range kill is 705m a while ago, not too shabby), clearing out 'fog of war' areas. I gotta say though that I don't last long, playing this game by myself. Looking forward to some more TGA Ghosting ;)

I'll be happy to join in whenever I see any of you online, I just don't really have set times that I can say that I'm available these days.

Todd advised he will be on after work on Monday (today) but I can never work out what is a workable time for him to come online :D

I am on from 4pm though and up for some BP shenanigans - am in the Discord just hit me up.

That's practically a brand new game, very impressed!
