That was a fantastic session guys, thanks for inviting me in! Looking forward to more. :D
Was great gaming with you for the first time, Mark :) We definitely had a blast. The new content can have everything going sideways in a heartbeat - so many units responding, then rebels show up, mortars, helos, jeez it gets crazy. I'm glad it's not like that constantly, because I love it most when we ghost a base without the bad guys getting a single shot off. I admit today that taking the silencer off the TAC50 and blasting rounds through concrete walls was also quite satisfying!

Also, I'm noticing now that I've almost maxed out my sniper rifle accuracy with the new system they've added that I'm getting one shot, one kill with a full magazine of ten rounds multiple times a session.

Snowy, so glad we're getting all these hours in! Just loving the coop sessions.

Can bullets penetrate walls now or has that always been a thing? The amount of times I've messed up a base infiltration by having a shot bounce off the thin wall of a sniper tower says otherwise.

Always been possible, higher power snipers without suppression, which makes perfect sense!

I'll hopefully have more time soon, possibly Friday. I have yet to try the motherland part of the game, I've managed to jump into the vanilla version for a couple of quick solo sessions to do some things I wanted to do before switching modes.

Is it still drop in coop where I'd receive any unlocks and xp that I earn but mission progress is pure for the host now?

How many of us does that make now, 6? Is 4 the limit for an individual session?

From everything I can tell, everyone who's in the squad and has the mission highlighted will complete the mission. One for all, all for one style ;) Just gotta make sure everyone's on the same page, so to speak, wrt the active mission.

Chris, I do believe the limit is still four for a squad. If we got to six in an individual session - first of all, awesome! Second, we could split up three and three and join separate Discord voice channels?

Great to see so many players at the moment, the game absolutely sings with three or four people.

Happy to split out the teams if we have sufficient players on to warrant it. My buddy Peaver is another to add to the list, so a possible 7 of us total.

You know it is getting good when apart from a few initial comments, you are all playing in silence as you clear down the bases. Flipping from stealth to balls-out aggression like hitting a switch. Moving in for the kill knowing you have support and overwatch.

Favourite moment from tonight though has to be when Eny was in thermal vision and pulled up our minigun buggy too close to a medium enemy base and we were spotted. The most mental gunfight followed with me on the minigun giving covering fire. Was like the scene out of Dredd 8-)

Boo, sounds like I missed a great session! I'm readying myself for the 2,500 mile journey back to California, so I'll be offline until probably Sunday at the soonest. I'll be looking forward to joining back in!
