I'm confused on the whole booster jab thing; the NHS website still says you can only get one if you have an underlying health condition or are within a primary care role.

Out of interest, is our local centre still at the university, or are they doing them from the town hall now? The latter is significantly more convenient for me now that I don't live with someone that can drive.

Me and missus got boosted last night. A strapping young army chap did it, he was so gentle I didn’t even feel it go in. Usually you expect a little prick, but he wasn’t like all the rest. 10/10. Would get boosted by the army again.

So it turns out I was looking at the "3rd dose" not "booster dose" section.

A little from column A. A little from column B. The weird thing about it all was that we had a guy called Gavin watching with a clipboard the whole time. Kind of a mood killer if you ask me, but we got there in the end.

When I got through, the nearest centre I was offered was in Heysham (which really isn't practical for someone unwilling to use public transport right now), and then the website fell over. I'll try again later, hopefully it was just a problem with the nearer sites communicating.

Tried to book my booster jab last night but the NHS website was collapsing in on itself, which isn't surprising given the circumstances. Got on it again at 6.30am and managed to join a queue of 10,000 people and eventually book a slot. Earliest available was 7th January, which means the government have already failed their goal even as they spout their lies on the breakfast news.

Sorta glad I had the confusion and website issue earlier, as I tried again and now have mine booked at the town hall on the 20th of December. There were evening appointments on thursday and friday this week. I suspect that the NHS wasn't prepared for the additional capacity (because when has our government ever told affected parties ahead of time), and they've now opened up a whole load of extra slots.

I had my 3rd jab booked for 11/01, seems nuts to bring it forward by 2 weeks considering I don't go anywhere. I feel really sorry for the NHS staff - they must be knackered from all of this.

So I had my Moderna booster yesterday morning and it has absolutely knocked me for six today. I had double Pfizer jabs with my initial vaccination and didn't really get any side effects other than an achy arm.

Woke up this morning and every single inch of me ached like crazy and I've felt extreme fatigue all day. Unpleasant stuff.

I hope the next few variants we get have progressively less severe symptoms so that we can put this whole pandemic behind us. 3 to 6 monthly booster shots isn't something I'll relish doing.

Same for me, although my Moderna jab was on Sunday. Felt awful yesterday, couldn’t get warm at all, but I’m much better today.

I had 2 astrazeneca's with no problems whatever. The pfizer booster I had in the morning and by evening my arm was massively sore and tender. For a day or two after I genuinely felt wrung out, didn't feel that bad when I actually caught the bloody virus.
On the plus side I've no doubts at all that with my lungs and no jabs I'd be back on a ventilator in short order.

I had Astra Zeneca for my first two, and Pfizer for my booster. With the exception of a very sore arm last night and this morning (which was a problem for my already tortured sleeping ability), I've been almost fine. The only thing I noticed was that I had trouble staying warm today, which was a bit unusual but could have been something else, otherwise I've not had any real side effects. I have however drank gallons of water (I was told to stay hydrated) so have spent half my day going to and from the bathroom.

My first 2 jabs were Pfizer and the booster Moderna. Apart from a sore arm I'm fine, took a fuckton of paracetamol so that might have helped.
