Some clips from earlier in that stream made the national news.

I land much smaller aircraft than those in DCS World, and doing so even in relatively minor crosswinds is a uniquely stressful experience. An F-16 can make adjustments to its angle of attack or its airspeed in seconds, and if things are going completely tits-up, you can stick the afterburner on and basically fly straight upwards like a rocket. I just can't imagine how stressful it is in a commercial airliner weighing 20 times as much (with only six times as much engine power), filled with hundreds of probably quite nervous people, that doesn't have those options. Oh, and it's real, not virtual reality, and any mistake will probably kill you and everyone on board rather than just sending you to the mission failure screen. I know that these people are highly trained whereas I'm an idiot sat in my home office, but bloody hell it's scary watching this stuff.

I'm seeing a lot of this style of video recently. Which is good, because I went on the Internet last week, and I found this:

As an arachnophobe, this may be the most nightmare-inducing video I've ever seen.

At least it happened while they were landing - imagine being stuck with that at 10,000ft with nowhere close to put the plane down and bail!
