It rained last night for the first time in what felt like weeks. I usually don't like wet weather but after this relentless sunny bullshit it was very welcome. It's also a bit cooler today which is nice

Having moved house last year in that week-long heatwave we had in August, I feel your pain. Being forced to build a sofa and move a double mattress by yourself when it's 30 degrees, lest you have nothing to sit or sleep on, isn't a lot of fun.

Same here. Today was the first day I've noticed it being cooler, which is wonderful.

It's been significantly cooler in the early mornings for a week or so now. I think today it was 9 degrees when I set off for the supermarket.

I enjoy the colours and temperateness of Autumn but I really can't stand when it starts getting dark early. Summer is by far my preferred season just because we get so much daylight, I love it when the sun doesn't set until nearly 10pm.

I love autumn and winter with the exception of the short days. Dark on the way to work and dark by the time you get home is balls.

I do much prefer the moderate/cool temperatures in the UK than the hot stuff. This last week or two has been so pleasant compared to the previous 2 months. It's just nice to be able to decide how warm I want to be! When it's 25C+ you're fucked and there's nothing really you can do about it, homes just turn into a furnace and the heat remains trapped.

I'm fortunate in that I work from home, so can pop out during the day and experience daylight in the autumn/winter - and finish some work in the evening if I need to.

In fairness, I only changed it about five minutes before making the post. It hasn't been up all month.
