I hear she passed peacefully in her sleep around dinner time. Rip, ma'am.
Building the future, and keeping the past alive - are one and the same thing.

R.I.P. Your Majesty, and thank you for a lifetime of service.

I'm going to get this out of the way because a lot of my comments on this topic are going to seem a bit flippant otherwise. I regret the passing of the person, but I'm not going to mourn the death of a monarch.
Re: Celebs are still dropping off....
I'm no royalist by any means, but I am quite struck at seeing the proper end of an era. She was already two years on the throne before my parents were even born. Her first PM was Churchill!
Incredible innings really.

Just off the phone with my mum, who many of you know already but she's from Watford, lives in Florida now - yes, end of an era. Rest in Peace
If Edwin's being an Edwin does he call himself an Edwin?

Iconic rugby commentator Eddie Butler has died in his sleep on a Charity Prostate Cancer hike in Peru. Devasting loss.

I know she's more famous for Nurse Ratched, but I've never seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, and Deep Space Nine was a significant part of my adolescence. Fletcher played one of the most memorable and effective villains I've ever had the pleasure of watching. I reckon Kai Winn is at least a subconscious reason for my distrust of organised religion.

Don't think I'd heard him mentioned since the 1990's

Don't know how much of a celebrity he technically is, but the guy has 1.6 million Instagram followers (https://www.instagram.com/kimjunggius/).
Very sad about this one. Such a humble and good dude and so insanely talented, an absolute master of weird perspective drawing. Really was in the absolute prime of his career and has died far too young, he's a massive massive loss to the art world.

I knew him as someone that cropped up fairly regularly in art tutorials from the likes of Proko, and he really was ridiculously talented.
Re: Celebs are still dropping off....
Shit, I was watching one of his drawing vids yesterday. Love his style. RIP

Sad news, but she had a great run. I saw her in Blythe Spirit, in The West End, sometime around 2015, and she was astonishingly good. RIP.
