Basically that the game has had a 32GB update that is said to improve enemy ai responsiveness and given the time stamp showing enemies still completely mindless shooting into the fucking air (5:22) that the update clearly hasn't delivered. Performance fixes mean nil if the core gameplay is still complete garbage.

I was really looking forward to this game once.

What I guess I am getting at is that I am currently playing Borderlands 2, a game from as far back as 2012. Entering any new area in that game no matter the funky weapons I own or class and extras I have equipped I always always feel like I am being adequately challenged by the enemies. I have to work all of those systems adequately to progress successfully and that is in part along with new loot my reward - to not have that in a first-person shooter is an irredeemable cluster fuck that makes it pointless to even play. To have enemies that just don't react to you or even if they do only do so poorly as shown in the above video, why even bother?

We all know now just how Arkane and Redfall got here, it should never have been released because they had no love for what it was they had to produce and no amount of 30GB updates are ever really going to rectify that huge mistake. Move on and be done with it.
Ah,I'm with you. I never actually understood the concept of Redfall - I thought it was more a L4D type game than Borderlands.

If you like BL2 you'll love BL3, although the writing is worse they've tightened up the gameplay loop no end.

I do have around 120 hours on Bl3 Arq bud and yes the writing is borderline horrendous, I'm only really playing Bl2 because it's far less demanding in the old hot weather and always a blast to revisit regardless.

Man that looks fun though Focus published games are always a little more held back. Some are comparing it to Forspoken but Deck 13 have a pretty good track record so I have a little more faith in it.

I went back to BL2 to do some co-op with a friend that had it but not BL3 and it was stark how many quality of life improvements there have been in the third. Not to mention the fidelity side of things. It's odd because, in memory, I didn't think there was much difference, right down to almost being disapointed once I got around to buying BL3.

That writing is so painful though..

BL2 is still my favourite. It just 'feels' right. The locations are great, the vibe is perfect and it's great fun. Replayed it so many times...

BL3 wasn't anywhere near as memorable, even if it did have some improved elements.

I've replayed BL and BL2 multiple times but only ever played 3 the once and never had the urge to try it again.

100% they improved the mechanics and everything else was lacking which is a huge shame.

Didn't help that the previous game had one of the best villains ever and 3 had the most mediocre.

The new Aliens game seems to be getting good reviews, watched some gameplay on YT and thought it looked a bit underwhelming personally...

Dafuq is 4? They need to get that off being stuck on PS3 because its a great game but it seems forgotten about. I'd also say the same for the AC!D's but theres zero chance they'll ever get off PSP.

Can someone please just remake Metal Gear Solid or release a HD remaster of Twin Snakes? I do want to play the original but it'd be nice to see it in a higher resolution than my watch screen.

https://www.pcgamer.com/cd-projekt-red- ... o-like-it/

That is some high-grade bullshit.

The game was one of the worst PC gaming experiences I had even after crossing my fingers that each consecutive update would make it something worthy of my time, none of them ever did. Lost all respect for them I really have - and they seriously need to stop acting as if their milk didn't sour when it was entirely of their own doing.
