That is some high-grade bullshit.

The game was one of the worst PC gaming experiences I had even after crossing my fingers that each consecutive update would make it something worthy of my time, none of them ever did. Lost all respect for them I really have - and they seriously need to stop acting as if their milk didn't sour when it was entirely of their own doing.
I think there is some validity to that statement, it became a pile-on because of the performance issues on last gen consoles. I'm not saying there weren't issues but the general consensus at the time became that it was a complete mess of a game that didn't work which was not the case.

Yeah, I had very few issues with 2077 to be honest, played it to completion and had a blast. Not to say others didn't experience all the issues they say they did, just that for me it wasn't that bad at all...

Same here, even with ray-tracing on, played mainly as a netrunner type build and had a great time. Not a single crash.

Yup, did 2 playthroughs with no problems (well, I actually had 1 or 2 T pose npcs) from the get go.

Building the future, and keeping the past alive - are one and the same thing.

Sure, that's visually matching the Blade Runner aesthetic, but I get irrationally irritated by game reveals that don't even tell you what genre the game is. For all we know it's a falling block puzzle where you have to line up three replicants and one Deckard and then they all disappear like tears in the rain.

Haha, I was literally about to ask what genre it is

Annapurna though... they've published some pretty cool games, but as far as I can tell this is the first one they've actually developed in-house?

I'll wishlist anyway and keep an eye on it.

So they added Nic Cage to Dead By Daylight and his line reads are pretty fucking phenomenal.

Especially the later ones.

The Microsoft purchase of Activision/Blizzard is a bit closer.

Microsoft held talks with the CMA last night as well and CNBC reported that they had agreed to a remedial divestiture in the UK regarding cloud gaming which would allow the deal to clear the CMA. It's expected that the deal will now go through within the next few days. It's a total guess but the divestiture could be the removal of streaming from the Game Pass subscription, which would suck in terms of value for those of us in the UK.

Dug out my old 360 disks and gave Modern Warfare 3 a go, there's 1000's of people on the mp servers. That's the same unpleasant experience as it was in 2011. The campaign is good fun though, the most far fetched part being the Russian military are competent

Going to try Black Ops 1 next, really loved that game back in the day.
