New season is a go: 8GB patch, and a puppeteer theme:

I like the look of the revised Tip of the Spear set. I think we were getting those on the mission we did last night, so I'll have to have a proper look at them when I get chance. I'd love to do a build based around the flamethrower, but the ammo limitation was always a problem.

There's a bunch of new stuff there I'm interested in actually. They're reintroducing the grenade-cooking talent too, and I've always wanted grenades to be more useful.

It was made for you!

So fire and 'nades are the theme of these new gear sets — status effects and making the most of resisting and using them. I just tried the new incursion, and it is definitely not solo material, quite an onslaught of napalm and misery from the beginning, it will need some clever teamwork for sure.

Otherwise, it is a double XP season, so levelling up is fast, although the Manhunt can only be completed one person at a time, the next unlocking is weeks away, so a slow burner, but all previous manhunts are unlocked and playable, each with skill extensions. For example, a new pulse skill is available in the Camp White Oak Manhunt. Kenley College is available again too.

Found this earlier, some great builds and FAQs:

One little tidbit I discovered: You can craft improvised gloves, holster and knees to get an extra mod slot for each, as only masks, backpacks and chests have the slots normally. So get a good roll on each and you get 3 more mod slots to really amp up a build.

Cheers Mark, much better than using the wiki. I've put the finishing touches to my planned Bullet King build. I just need that sodding messenger backpack now. :P

I was luckily able to recalibrate a piece of chest armor, snatching that grenade-cook talent, so now I can stick it on most any chest piece. I've got it on my current build - killing with grenades is so much better with it.

Christmas Event is now loading...5.9GB patch...with loads of new projects and gear just for this holiday season. Santa Outfit, snowball firing SMG, the Oh Carol (White Death) sniper rifle and The Chill Out mask among them. The Loot Goblin has donned his Santa Hat and is carrying special items...

Does look nice though.

Yeah sorry about that mate, I thought the same thing when the video first popped up. The game went on sale for next to nothing recently so it's popular again.

I will continue to hold out hope for the new TDU title, although it now has to beat the Forza series. Also, I wish they hadn't used that pug-ugly new bloody Corvette in the video

"We do not know what our chances of survival are, so we fight as if they were zero. We do not know what we are facing, so we fight as if it was the dark gods themselves. No one will remember us now and we may never be buried beneath Titan, so we will build our own memorial here. The Chapter might lose us and the Imperium might never know we existed, but the Enemy - the Enemy will know. The Enemy will remember. We will hurt it so badly that it will never forget us until the stars burn out and the Emperor vanquishes it at the end of time. When Chaos is dying, its last thought will be of us. That is our memorial -carved into the heart of Chaos. We cannot lose, Grey Knights. We have already won ~Justicar Alaric".
