I will allow this, since Fechr acted so quickly and saved everyone.

Giant performs a ghastly dance of celebration, which makes everyone feel uncomfortable and nauseous.

But not as uncomfortable and nauseous as having a bomb go off in their midst.

You're okay; no need now. Fechr saved you all!
The bomb explodes loudly, making the chamber shudder and the walls crack.
When the dust settles a moment later, and the smoke clears, there is naught left of the five creatures in the next room but splattered gore.

No need to roll Agility anymore; Fechr saved you all!

Every agility check made since is someone high-fiving Fechr.
Re: MÖRK BORG: Chapter I: Nurse the Rot
“Well struck, Fechr - I thought they had us for a second. All of you, help yourself to whatever’s in there.”
I’d then like to stroll over to a quiet corner and draw my sword.
“I tire of your jibes, sword. You call me whelp, belittle me at every opportunity, but you know what I’ve realised recently? You need me more than I need you. Mock me again in front of these good folk and I promise that your illustrious legacy will come to a humiliating end.”
I then sheathe it. Out of interest, are there any surviving weapons in the exploded gore room? If so I’d like to claim one, however paltry.

Nothing survived the blast: even the torches on the walls went out. The room beyond the arch is now in darkness.Wrathbone wrote:Out of interest, are there any surviving weapons in the exploded gore room? If so I’d like to claim one, however paltry.

BLADE OF THE ANCESTORS:
"Don't you know your friends can't hear me, you unworthy cur? As for them, you almost got them all killed with that little bomb stunt, didn't you? It's only thanks to that shark-faced cretin over there that you survived. Perhaps you should hand your titles to him? Didn't your father teach you how to throw? Oh, no, I suppose he died in that Südglans war, didn't he? Assuming he was your father! And you have it all quite wrong, pup. You're weak! It's only thanks to my superbly crafted balance, courtesy of the wealth and skill of your ancestors, that you have any chance of hitting anything at all! Good luck getting out of here alive with an inferior weapon!"

Re: MÖRK BORG: Chapter I: Nurse the Rot
I storm back to the room with the dead hag, unsheath the sword and crouch down beside the corpse.
“Listen up, blade, and listen well. I could have fled this land and settled somewhere peaceful and safe, but wise Barbarister implored me to show courage and fulfil my aunt’s wishes to find this staff, and so here I am. What have you done, but chasten me at every turn? If your edge was half as sharp as your tongue, I might still have a home. And a family.
This is your final warning. Swear that if you must speak to me, it will be to my encouragement, though frankly I’d be content with your silence. Otherwise your legacy will be to spend all eternity wedged hilt-deep up the arse of this unfortunate crone. What say you?”

Do you take the eastern corridor to get here, or the long way around?

Marger then hurls the bomb into the room on the other side of the archway! Seeing the bomb bounce into their midst, the five creatures in the room immediately panic, leaping into the air in surprise and making loud chittering noises! But one of them picks up the bomb and HURLS IT BACK THROUGH THE ARCHWAY!
EVERYONE IN THE PARTY, TEST AGILITY! (d20)
13 - 1 = 12 x applause for Fechr!
