That is sufficient! Even with the additional -4 deduction from your heavy armour.
Grin successfully leaps through the spider-legs and into the rotunda!
He whirls his anti-prayer-engraved shepherd's crook around his head and...

Now roll 2d4, but subtract an additional d4 from the total.

1 and 4. Alpha presumably licks a wound clean and disinfects it.

Alpha fails to get his teeth through the chitin.
It's all down to Grin now!

A 2, a 4 and deduct 4, so 2 overall.

Re: MÖRK BORG: Chapter I: Nurse the Rot
Grin's crook of human bone strikes the centipede's face and cracks it so hard the wall is spattered with some foul goo.
The writhing, wriggling thing rolls about on the floor, its dozens of legs thrashing wildly, but soon comes to a stop.
Only Lord Margar hears a horribly human wail come from its twitching mandibles as its remaining life gives out.
Once again, the rotunda is returned to silence, save the crackling of the burning bones.

Lord Margar, Grin and Prügl are located in the central rotunda, beneath the mosaic dome, near the corpses of the hag and the centipede.
Malaiz, Fechr and Giant Dances the Sea are in the south-eastern room.
Where does everyone go next?

I concur! Was there any way to get through on the eastern side of the rotunda?

Do you mean the eastern corridor connecting the rotunda (the central chamber) to the outer ring?
It has a grate in the floor with giant spider legs jutting out of it, but two of your friends, Grin and Prügl, crossed it unharmed...

I think he means carrying on round the outer ring on the eastern side, but if I remember right there was a portcullis or something?Stormbringer wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 7:50 amDo you mean the eastern corridor connecting the rotunda (the central chamber) to the outer ring?

Grin congratulates Sploooooooom on a frankly spectacular throw, while flicking the centipede spooge from his crook. If it is visible, he finds the stone hurled by the monkey and offers it to Malaiz as a potential new addition to his collection ¬_¬
