Just seen there's a new DLC campaign out, just in time for the bank holiday weekend. :D Looking forward to trying out some of the new classes they added a while back, as well as some higher level combat as the campaign covers levels 10 to 16.

Solasta 2 demo just landed on Steam... played an hour, this is a huge step above the first game in terms of graphics, character models, polish - shaping up really nicely on this evidence!

It's really good! Only played half an hour so far but the sheen of quality it's gained makes a big difference. I'd encourage anyone who was put off by the jank in the first game to give the demo a go.

The only quibble I've got is that I can't see how to hold an action in combat - maybe I'm missing something or they haven't implemented it yet. It was handled well in the first game because you could specify what you wanted to hold (e.g. a particular cantrip), so its apparent absence here is odd.

Yeah, that point has been raised in the Steam forum so I assume it's currently missing, hopefully gets added in.

For a pre-alpha build it looks amazing, maybe not quite BG3-levels of polish, but there's a pretty vast difference in resources between the two, so I'm a bit blown away by how good it is already.
