Well, you roll on a d20 on the Death Check table, and subtract the damage you've gone below 0 HP from your roll. So, your HP is 1 and you got hit for 5 damage, meaning you're at -4 HP.

Nah, I rolled poorly and the dice are the law. I'll roll up a new character when the party gets back to town.

Roach had absolutely terrible stats anyway so it's not a great loss!

I'd like to swap my d4 mini-pistol for Roach's revolver. It's what he would have wanted.

Can we take stock of the room - as in, are there any corpses that look Loudmouthy? Any scraps of paper with numbers written on them?
