What exactly does he think will be accomplished by this? We know the payloads work, they're a mature technology now. Doing it because Russia tested a nuclear capable delivery vehicle is absurd. There is basically nothing to be gained by actually mounting a nuclear warhead to something, you just test these things with a payload of equal dimensions and hope you never have to actually bolt a nuke to it.

I have at a number of points considered whether Trump would start a global thermonuclear war with Russia rather than go to prison regarding his involvement with Epstein. I was undecided.

And no, I don't think this is just a "businessman" not understanding why we have expensive things sitting around doing nothing, I also don't think he's even trying to scare Russia and China. This is all just sound bites for the US market, another pathetically transparent attempt to look like a strong man to his base so he can continue claiming what a good job he's doing at international politics. Just wait, it'll soon be "Russia and Chynaa are scared of America like they've never been scared of us before because of our beautiful nyukular weapons.
