The Apprentice 2018

Post by Maturin » Tue Sep 25, 2018 1:11 pm

It's that time again! Where we get to meet the latest bunch of reality TV hopefuls, er, I mean entrepreneurs. Starts next Wednesday...

They can be found here:

I guess I'll watch it again. At least the first bunch of episodes until I can take no more. Then tune in for the interviews near the end.

Huzzah!

I know they're terrible people for the most part but I'm afraid I find it horribly entertaining nonetheless, and will be viewing it avidly once more :D

Hurray.

...but every year I feel like they said last year that they wouldn't be making another series.

How long before Alan Sugar makes another hideously inappropriate racist comment and then gets the hump when people complain?

Has Sugar ever accepted any form of criticism?

I don't get this when I venture into town all I see are fat people. Most are also ugly. Now I am no piece of artwork but its very odd indeed that all the budding entrepreneurs on this show are thin, good looking and young

I say BOLLOCKS

At least its a nice mix of Asian, White and Black. No Orientals or Arabs but hey you cannot have it all hey BBC.

Haven't seen it for a few years now. It was becoming a rehash of the same sort of tasks with the same sort of unlikeables who apparently must have been living as hermits cos they made the same stupid mistakes as the rest from years gone by.

Alan Sugar is a knob anyway and his rags to riches story got very old. Have passed for years

I have to admit it took me until the third one to question that.

I'll readily admit it's a guilty pleasure, but you need a bit of that sometimes, don't you?

Agreed - it's the only reality TV type thing I watch, and my enjoyment of it amounts to little more than gawping at idiots, but I'm comfortable with that.

Yeah, it may try to disguise itself as a serious business competition, but it's trash TV like every other reality show. I still enjoy it.

I very much enjoyed the side kick CEO (the baldy one) who once asked a candidate during the interviews

"I read your CV, what does SLA stand for ?"

SLA, Really. I lost all respect for a man who claims to run a business and does not know what SLA stands for. Yeah...CEO...yeah.
