War of Rights (ACW FPS game)
Hadn't heard of the game until I watched this trailer, just now. Looks pretty decent.

Got an email at work this morning to say that a uni mate (and ACW enthusiast) had bought me this game. Annoyingly I go on leave in less than a week so it'll have to wait until after...

Watched a Youtuber play this a while back. It looked nice but it was a bit bland. You'd need everyone to be very disciplined and keep formation during battles which just wouldn't make for a fun game.

Even though you pretty much have to play by the formations or get buggered, the trick is apparently to get into clan play - or Regiments, as I believe they're called in-game. The public servers let you learn the ropes, the Regiments are where the proper drill and tactics flourish. The public experience is apparently okay, though, since the people hanging around for a full match are those who want to at least learn and try out the style.Animalmother wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 10:24 amWatched a Youtuber play this a while back.
