Re: Document your Documentary viewing.

Our Planet, if that fits in the documentary genre. Excellent viewing.
I've seen some reviews saying it's too preachy on climate change but truth hurts I suppose.

That "article" is garbage.
Yup. By their standard all medieval/fantasy type films should seemingly be candlelit or look as if they were filmed as if modern cinema technology didn't exist to preserve the accuracy /integrity of the subject. What utter tosh.

Re: Game of Thrones S8 (Here be spoilers)

Although the series has a huge budget overall, I do wonder sometimes whether on a scene-by-scene basis they're too rushed to spend enough time lighting their night-time sets properly. Re: Game of Thrones S8 (Here be spoilers)

I also felt the end of the episode felt a bit underwhelming for such a climactic event. And your plot armour comment was spot on. Also I agree, why weren't the dragons used to clear and protect the walls? And why send the whole of your cavalry where you're literally in the dark as to what's waiting...

It might unlock it, but without the dedicated rt cores I'd expect games to be reduced to a slideshow seeing the performance hit that even rtx cards seem to suffer.
Can't see me ever enabling them on my 1070, even though it's o/c. Maybe 1080/1080ti owners will fare better.
