Well, yeah, that feels like an appropriate move by Nintendo, and I dare say other manufacturers of relatively high-end goods will do the same. The price of a Switch just went up by $100 or more in the US overnight, they need to rethink their entire marketing strategy because it now costs the same as one of the other major consoles did last week. It's a fairly different value proposition.

I had a distinctively lengthy love/hate relationship with Destiny 2 *as do many* and to date it retains the value of being one of my most played games in my Steam listing. In a few days time we will finally get to see what they have coming next. Destiny 2 was a game I both loathed and craved in equal measures but I'm rather happy to say I'm finally free of its grasp today, Bungie turned it into something purely detestable in the end.

I'd say I'm moderately excited for a Marathon reimagining - I adore their tight gun play, but we all know what may come along right with it if D2 taught us anything.
