Actually Gibby, I think it's D4+4 x 10 - so the possible gold would be between 50-80.

Okay Gibby, your Chain Armour reduces your Speed by -2 and your Bow Skill by -1, but adds +2 to your Toughness.
Your Shield reduces your Bow Skill by -1, but increases your Toughness by +1. Again, make all these changes to your Current rather than Start characteristics.

Because of your decreased Bow Skill, your Ranged combat parameters are now: 9; 10; 11; 12; Miss

Your Spear's stats are: Range - 6 (if thrown); Damage Dice - 2; Fumble - 1; Critical - 12; Special Rule: May attack diagonally.

QUEST I: THE HALFLING COOK

The Baron's favourite cook, a halfling by the name of Rolo Chubb, has been kidnapped by orc thugs and taken to their lair, somewhere beneath the ruins of the Old City. The Baron has offered a substantial reward to any brave heroes who will venture into the tunnels to recover the cook. The Baron is desperate, for 'tis the eve of his birthday feast, and the halfling was in the middle of preparing his special annual birthday cake. The Baron suspects the orcs who captured Rolo want to torture him to learn the cake recipe for themselves! THEY MUST BE STOPPED! Also, the halfling must be returned before the Baron's guests arrive...
