Re: Fallout 76
I bought not a lick of DLC and the only mod I had was the one that cleaned the Pip-Boy screen up (the dust on that was fucking unbearable). This was the mission after they captured the fortress (Fort Independence I think?) and you fight the massive Mirelurk - you then defend that which you captured, from a massive Institute attack (that as I say at one point teleports right into the fort).

I wonder if it’s an optional or branching mission? I.e. I think I may have abandoned my comrades to the slaughter.
Re: Fallout 76
I do remember that, but I cheated like a bastard in that game and had spent a few minutes rigging the entire place with artillery, sentry guns and meaner robots than the ABC Warriors. When that attack happened the base inhabitants tore them to shreds.

The train wreck just keeps on giving the laughs.
The hackers or modders have also been able to get in Fallout 4 NPC's and stuff as well into the game. Puts to shame the level of creativity on their part compared to Bethesdas efforts.

And the fun keeps on coming.
Apparently the new human NPCs Bethesda added in their latest update can loot player corpses and steal their guns, which may have taken many hours to get, and there's no way to get them back off them:
