Well, The Gamers Arms is one week old today and we've managed to average 200 posts a day so far. It's nice seeing so many old faces coming back and the general vibe of the place being so positive.

I really couldn't be more chuffed that we've managed to take PW closing down in such a stride that the whole community has been kickstarted back into life. So really, thanks a lot for sticking around guys. And here's to the hope that the place continues to grow, particularly as the functions of the site are expanded in the future.

We're having technical problems at the moment. But the forum is back online and safe, so feel free to post business as usual.

If any of you notice something that I previously fixed has reverted back to its previous state, please let me know. I've had to restore a backup of the forum files from Monday and I'm slowly redoing all the things I've changed since then. It's possible I may forget a few.

Phew, had me worried there for a moment.

You were worried!? If only you'd been there to see me turn white as a sheet when I exited the FTP client and tried to boot up this site only to find a 404 error. A quick glance back into the FTP and the whole domain had disappeared.



I'm not even sure how it managed to get deleted to be honest, because I definitely didn't hover over the gamersarms.com folder and think to myself "Yes, this definitely needs to go too". I can only assume that my client bugged/lagged out whilst I was deleting other stuff.

Everything should be back to normal now. Thankfully I haven't made that many changes to the files this week, though I had to remake the Night theme, so let me know if some of the colours are messed up because I wasn't quite as thorough on the second attempt.

Colours in the dark theme seem to look the way they were.

Actually there is one small thing. In the dark theme, the page number squares are all the same colour, so at first glance you can't tell which page of a thread you're on. I can't remember what shade it was before, probably a lighter one.
