So the new library stuff is out of beta and foisted upon us all.

Urgh I don't like it. I just want a list. I'm not interested in all the other bollocks. Anyone know how to make it go away.

Plus is it just me or is the text blurry?

You can delete all the shelves on the right and just have the list of games on the left. There isn't currently a way to remove the news thing.

All it's done is take my list of categorised games, make it so I can't sort them by which ones are installed, move the list to a small sidebar and then duplicate the whole thing with garish looking thumbnails which I can't tell from looking at whether the game is installed or not.

The aesthetic updates are so pointless and have actively reduced how easy it is for me to browse my library.

There is a button on the left that looks like a play button that you can select to only show you games that are installed, there is also a filter you can apply. This will then apply across the collection so that both the list and the icons on the right will only be games you have installed. It should also have kept any old categories that you had previously.

If you could get rid of the enormous news box thing I think I could quite happily make my peace with it.

Right now 75% of my screen taken up with garbage that is of no use or interest to me.

You could make it full screen just to be correct!

If your Steam window is tiny it might cover 75% but on the standard size it's 50% at most.

Surely the bigger the window the higher the percentage? Either way it's too much and I would like it gone.
