That's a fairly dreadful list for games of the decade. I wonder what their criteria for selection was.

2008 was the original version, but it got fully remade and commercially released in 2012.

Oh, so yes and no then. I thought it was earlier than 2008 in any event.

Hardly anyone played the free version so I think the retail product counts especially as it had such a big effect on the genre.

I think if you are taking into consideration the impact games have had on the industry that's a pretty good list.
