Car accident - was in the back of a mini (old 70's one) that ended up 3 feet long bumper to bumper at it's shortest point.

Smarted a little...
Reading that made my bum hole pucker in horror
Snowy bum hole status = unconfirmed.

I knew nothing about it, I remember setting off with friends and then I was in hospital with broken jaw, wrist, ribs and legs having been cut out of the car by the fire brigade. We all survived the accident but sadly a friend who was also in the car had bone-marrow get into his bloodstream and died of an embolism as a result while in hospital.

Rather than dwell on that though (it was a very long time ago) I can tell you that the injuries gave rise to my most embarassing moment. I was 17 and when my legs came out of plaster asked if I could get some form of wash that wasn't sponge and bed related, so was taken to the hydrotherapy pool. 17, been in a bed in a public ward for weeks unable to... well you know right? Led into the hydrotherapy area where two really pretty nurses were, one in a swimsuit, and Snowy Jr decides he is awake. "Not to worry, happens more often than you would think" says one of the nurses, pulling out a small rubber-headed hammer and giving me a smart rap on the chap, which knocked him clean out. I was fucking mortified...

Was even worse than sleepwalking naked in the Midland hotel in Manchester, getting locked out of my room and protecting my modesty with a small ironing board, but that's a tale for another day.

With Medicine Man charging around at night recently with his bollocks out chasing crims, we seem to have a lot of naked adventure tales on here.

From some of the videos I've seen online this situation usually has a very different outcome :-k

To quote every 'rhythm magazine' I read as a young'un "I couldn't believe my luck when..."

Yeah, that wasn't my experience :)

Will write up the Midland hotel one some time, give you all a laugh.

There have been a few times I have wheeled that one out, usually when someone says they have never been more embarrassed than [occasion].

"I have one that might top that..."

Annual reviews. Just had mine, and as always it was a pointless formality for the sake of HR. My manager and I are both very much of the view that if I have something I want to raise with the company, or if the company wants to raise something with me, we'll discuss it as and when that happens. I demonstrated the futility of annual reviews a couple of years ago when I brought up in the review that I wanted to go for a promotion, and while I got it later in the year, at the time of the review there was nothing practical that could be done to advance it. It was a total waste of time.

In fact, let's widen this rant to HR in general. And throw marketing in there too while we're at it.

It's purely an option to help remove slackers and not really to help people onwards :)

Apple Music.

Switched over from Spotify to try it because of the whole Apple Watch thing but here’s a tid bit.... some smart Edwin at Apple decided that you shouldn’t be able to follow artists only albums and songs! That’s some of the daftest shit ever! So instead of just pressing one button and having all of Captain Beefhearts catalogue added to my library I have to go in and click follow on every album individually.

](*,)

I think I’ll be going back to Spotify after the 3 month trial.

Hah! I've never noticed that. There's so many EPs, singles, deluxe editions, and other stuff for a given artist I never want everything they've done in my library so I'm happy to click just the ones I want.

And that's the story of why I'm not allowed near pregnant women for the next few weeks.

Having used both, Spotify is better imo.
