Good grief.

I am not a fan of this man, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. If Covid 19 claims the life of a first-world country's leader, I'm... I'm not sure what happens. Is something this serious going to be enough to make the idiots still going out to sunbathe or hosting barbecues actually pay attention?

No. In a word.

Reports say that tigers in a NY zoo caught it from their handler.

Hopefully that works.

I should point out I do find this all very serious but I do want to try and keep people laughing to help them through it.

The eternal voice of reason, David Icke, has steamed into the situation.

The last time I heard anything from him, I think it was something about moon rays that the reptillians were manipulating to control us. Obviously they realised they could just build 5G masts instead.

Anyone else a wee bit concerned that this will all result in an even bigger upsurge of right wing cunts coming to power? Economic downturn is a breeding ground for such scum. Once the virus is under control I can see an international blame game starting with countries accusing others of not helping enough as well.

A little. I'm kinda hoping that this exposes some right wing idiots for who they are.

I mean for example in America at the moment there is some focus on these ridiculous TV pastors that are telling the virus to go away in the name of Jesus, something tells me that problem may solve itself.

I said to a friend as this all kicked off that true colours would be revealed over the course of this and some of it seems to be coming to fruition.

I am not sure about that as Kier Starmer looks like he can be an effective opposition leader provided his policies are grounded.

Also you cannot look to the States for any degree of "normality" especially from the rust belt

I do believe this will mark the beginning of the end of the EU. If you listen to the jungle drums from Italy and Spain and Slovenia - yeah - they are are done with the EU and Germany's selfish attitude to brotherly support.

As someone on Twitter said, time for him to have an "awkward" talk with his missus maybe.
