I think it’s a far better game than FTL but FTL pushes more of my buttons.

Yeah I think functionally it's a better designed game. But then FTL is so unique and has so much soul that it'd be hard not to say I preferred it.

picked up WD2 even though I have it already on Uplay.

Skipped FM 2020 as I know nothing about football except the rules.

You know WD2 on Epic just runs through Uplay right?

Can’t put a price on a shortcut! Ubi are my second fav free games because I redeem them on epic then launch them in uplay via a steam shortcut. First place is drm free stuff like Celeste that doesn’t even need any launcher after it’s in, which is a surprising number of epic titles.

I'm guessing they're free-to-keep, but you can only use it once?

Rocket League is now free. Add it to your library and get one of those 10quid vouchers Epic loves to dish out.

And art of Rally is on Epic, so you can pick that up for only ~£7. A bargain!

So, if I register at a time when, say, Football Manager is free, I get to keep FM?

Or, is it a free-to-try?

It's free permanently for your account so long as you claim it during the window where it's available. You have to actually go onto the store page for it and redeem it to add it to your library.

Really? I thought the default settings were about right, have you put it up a level?
