I think that people have picked a side, but then stuck with it because they think the other side is unreasonable. It doesn't matter that Trump is a racist sack of mouldy turnips, because all of that is just a smear campaign by the Democrats, or they just happen to agree with his rather extreme views.

It's happening around the world, particularly here in the UK. I personally think our own government are a bunch of self serving arseholes that would happily run over ten starving children if it got them to their second home a fraction of a second quicker. There is very little they could do to change that opinion. I have absolutely no doubt that the average Tory voter would think me totally unreasonable because it challenges their world view too much. They'd call me fiscally irresponsible for wanting the poor among our population to be given enough assistance to have the same shot at life that they did.

If he loses I’d put the blame, at least partially, on dems like “the squad” that don’t seem to know when to shut up and toe the line. I mean yes I believe their hearts are in it and yes I do think what they are saying is almost 100% where things should go. That said, being a blind idealist that can’t read the room is inherently damaging to the group you represent if you can’t get it into your head that you can’t just bend the entire nation to your way of thinking. Like I’ve said before, I think AOC is super smart and impressive but he seems to lack smarts.

The fact that he's openly called the whole election a fraud and claimed that they've won whilst so many outstanding postal votes have yet to be counted is genuinely astonishing. It dangerously undermines their entire democratic process.

What are the chances of him actually getting those postal votes thrown out with the Supreme Court if things don't go his way? It hardly bears thinking about what the aftermath of that might be.

Either way, if Joe wins you have a third of the country thinking it was illegitimate and that third contains almost all of the gun loving nutters.

McConnell 39% approval rating in Kentucky, but still won 59% of the vote....
Graham, all but sunk, ran out of campaign funds....retains his seat...

America is sunk, far too many people are prepared to turn a blind eye to white supremacy, racism, corruption, blatant law breaking, lying, deception, misinformation and downright negligence.

Biden will probably shade it, but he wont have an easy job getting the country back together, by any means. This race has been far to close than it should have been, it really is quite astonishing given the record voting numbers - Biden has broken the record for most votes ever received by a presidential candidate ever.

As usual, Trump lies and blusters his ignorance at the job, and loads of his doltard followers think the election has been stopped, because he said so. I fucking despair that such an antichrist can be where he is, it is astonishing how far from truth America finds itself.

If Biden wins, I have to wonder if Trump will attempt to burn down the states which didn’t vote for him with punitive measures before he’s dragged out of office. He doesn’t strike me as the sort of person who will go down without taking others with him.

On the plus side, Michigan has swung in Biden’s favour, which means Biden wins if the current state projections are correct.

If arizona, nevada, wisconsin, michigan and maine go with Biden, I'm right in thinking it's done. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Tired of this shit tbh.

My prediction - Biden is going to win, and it won't be as close as it seems right now.

Even though Trump is leading in Pennsylvania currently with 64% of the votes counted, everyone seems to be saying that the votes still to be counted are overwhelmingly Democrat and Biden is being predicted to win there as well. If he does that it's basically all over, and Wisconsin and Michigan would push him well over the line.

Forget all that shit. Kanye West has announced he probably won't be elected this year but is pinning his hopes on 2024!

Looks like he's trying to stop vote counts or force recounts in basically every outstanding state which still has mail-in votes to tally up. His entire entourage is using every platform they have to claim that the Democrats are trying to defraud the election.

Honestly, if he ends up stealing this election, I hope someone just shoots him.

I assume if/when he fraudulently steals the election the UN and all the upstanding democratic countries around the world will refuse to recognise the result and freeze all of Trump's foreign assets?

Not a fucking hope.

Can you imagine the absolute shitstorm that would result from Trump being assassinated? The country is already massively divided, just think of one side thinking Trump a martyr. It'd be civil war.

I'd read that election officials are privately telling Democrats they could be looking at a 100-200k margin in Pensylvania.

243 - 215 in Biden's favour so far... Could it be?
