Also separate question - If i set profiles using the software, are they saved in the mouse's memory? Ie. if I plug it into my work laptop will it keep button settings etc.?

there’s a toggle in the software that switches between using internal memory or the software. I find using internal memory much more stable even if you only used it on one computer.

Now that you mention it, my profile must be aboard the mouse as I never installed the software when I reinstalled my PC a few months back, and the mouse works as it did before.

The option to swap between internal profiles and PC ones is the first thing that pops up when you boot up the software I think.

There's no reason to have them saved on the pc really, unless you have so many that they won't all fit onto the mouse itself.

I think he likes the new mouse, chaps. And why shouldn't you, the G502 is damn near perfect. It's such an obvious recommendation that I suspect it'll become the official* Gamers Arms hardware choice, like the Creative T20s were on Preys World.

I don't think people fully grasp how good it is. I was telling my Dad about it with enthusiasm, customisable buttons, profiles, free wheeling etc. and his response was

"Does the scroller act as a third button?"

It's a shame that people don't take more interest in something most of them use for 7 hours every day.

If anyones interested, Amazon have a 20% off marketplace event. The Lightspeed 502 is £92 which drops to around 75 for one with "damaged box". Not too shabby.

I only set my DPI to 2000 across the board for everything I do at the pc. I don't think I could keep up with lightspeed.

Use the LGHUB software to set up your profiles and store it on the mouse memory then you can uninstall the LGHUB software and use This to do any further tweaking like dpi/colours/buttons. You can run it once exit and done and your mouse can be used on any other pc without needing to reinstall any software from then on.

I hate the LGhub software myself compared to the older software they had but if you have the newer G502 or G903 mouse your forced to use it.

Cheers I'll take a look. I haven't quite cracked it yet - noticed when I plugged it into my work laptop that it wasn't using my profile so I've obviously done something wrong.
