Crofty uses that phrasing, doesn't he? Or does he say it the other way around?

Whichever way it is, "from" is a pretty useless word 'cause it's vague. "IT'S HAMILTON FROM VERSTAPPEN FROM LECLERC"… ?!?!@?$?@$%£^&$£$ WHO IS WINNING?!

Spoiler
First blood to Verstappen I suppose. Starting on pole on faster tyres, with Red Bull sacrificing Perez to get him there (in a tactic I'm surprised they haven't used before). It'll probably get Max into the first corner first, but I'm really not expecting him to stay there beyond the first few laps. This is traditionally a Mercedes stomping ground, and the track changes supposedly favour the Merc too.

Lewis may not be starting in the ideal position, but I still think this is his race to lose.

Well, this is it, the last race of one of the best seasons in F1 ever, Hamilton has to win, or Verstappen takes the Championship. I will be happy no matter who gets there tbh, but shade for Hamilton purely down to his more measured decision-making and the #8 milestone. It will be interesting to see how Max handles the start and whether he can influence what goes on behind him regarding Hamilton keeping his slot. This is going to be epic, and a final goodbye to all that micro-aero trash that clutters up the tracks after contact....game on! 🏎🏎🏁

How can you enter a bend so recklessly and drive so wide as a result that the guy you are overtaking has to leave the track and that be right? Red Bull are having a laugh.

My other half is a massive Hamilton fan, I forsee a miserable evening if he loses. I'm no fan of his, mainly due the face he's dull as ditchwater but he is an excellent driver. Now Max, Max annoys me, along with Red Bull in general.

And that is why Lewis is the champion, regardless of the result, he doesn't need his teammate to drag him along and then slow down his rival to get even close....

As much as I agree with that, I think we have to recognise what an incredible job that was from Perez. I've never seen someone forcefully slow another driver down by 6 or 7 seconds in a lap.

Oh for sure, I wouldn't expect anything else, it is racing and fully valid. Perez was excellent, and has been a great teammate all weekend. It is still all to play for, and might come down to a pitstop, damned exciting! :D

I can see their point of view; they couldn't pit in front of Max in case he didn't bother, and the VSC could have ended during a pitstop on the next time around. If there were anyone I'd trust to keep position, it'd be Lewis.

Aye, didn't realise they've only got a new set of the hard left. Lewis can protect his tyres better than anyone tbh, so game on! Shame that car parked right in the wrong frigging place, and such a damned shame Kimi didn't get a finish in his final race.

Hey, Gio needed to get out and catch Kimi to say goodbye before the Finn left the circuit.

I hope this race doesn't start again, that would be so unfair...
