There are many things I'm not keen on with American culture, but their gun culture is just next level in that regard. When you can pose for a family photo wielding a light machine gun that would make even our own armed response police force blush you know there's something not quite right. You just know that every posing American in photos like that sees themselves as the hero of their own little story.

I'm already starting to see some design flaws there. A whole 3 inches thick, why that would deter someone for at least an hour or so from getting inside it! And let's hope no one steals the solar panels due to the power grid being down.

You know it's going to be bad when phrases like "droplets of meat molecules" are used - not by the reviewer, incidentally, but the waiting staff

I love stuff like this, reading Jay Rayner's scathing restaurant reviews has long been a guilty pleasure of mine.

This showed up on Reddit's /r/wewantplates. The foam that you need to suck out of a plaster cast of the chef's mouth is the 5th most upvoted entry on that subreddit of all time after just one day, and is the most repulsive idea for a dining experience I've ever seen.

Glad to find another guilty fan of Mr Rayner's wonderful reviews. His good ones are as enjoyable as the bad, but somehow I had missed this peach Sly so many thanks for the link.
