Considering I think of myself as being invested in the development of space exploration and technology, I'm finding it difficult to keep track of which launches are considered important these days. The commercial ventures have somewhat muddied up the waters.

This is the test launch of the first stage of NASA's Mars mission, right?

This is an unmanned launch of a moon mission that plans to eventually put astronauts on the moon again. It's a capsule that will have 3 mannequin astronauts in the seats to test all sorts of stimuli. The launch has been scrubbed today though, as there was a fuel issue on engine 3.
