You can do that, sure, but I'm my experience you don't want to. There's a weird connection between your field of view and the 'distance' to the virtual screen. In the same way that you wouldn't want to sit with your face pressed up against a big TV (regardless of the screen's resolution), it doesn't feel comfortable having a virtual screen that close either, despite the reality that the real screen is always the same distance from your real eyes.

I'd react angrily, too! Trying to do a nice thing by meeting fans, accused of being a sex pest, poor guy!"Till comes in and I immediately say: 'Till, if you're here for sex. I'm not doing that.'"
The singer, she said, reacted angrily and left.
Oh. That does sound exceedingly suspect. The spokesman added that the band had severed contact with the Russian woman accused of helping to select women for "Row Zero".
They said private after-show parties with Till Lindemann had been cancelled.

Reports that extensive female 'funneling' and spiked drinks were involved prior to meeting with the lead singer. I hope not I really do.

Not to sound like a Edwin, but does anyone give a shit about a group of billionaires trapped in a submarine that uses a knockoff PS4 controller to steer it? It's a terrible thing to happen but the amount of effort being expended to try locate them while hundreds of people drown in the Mediterranean seems a bit gross.
Re: Aaand, In Other News...
My biggest takeaway from it is that it feels like a bit of a design flaw that a submersible cannot be opened by the occupants.
Honestly the whole thing feels like it's being over-reported to distract from all the stories about our disastrous economy, but then that's the usually-justified cynic in me.

4 days of O2, no toilet. Would you open it if you found it?

They do have a toilet. It's behind a curtain. I know this because of the media's ridiculous disaster fetish.
Look, it's the headline on story 13 of 20.

Everything about this story is a microcosm of worldwide far-right politics — incredible abuses. They do not even have a fucking beacon on the thing, and previously refused when this issue (and many, many others) was brought up.

Its titillating journalism and its also easy to report. For example the OBR explanation of why UK inflation is the highest in Europe is because, I shit you not, war in Ukraine. Like the war is not effecting anyone else by the same measure, no just us. So instead of actually investigating why we the UK seems to be going through this bizarre inflation crises, that takes, you know, effort and some investgation. Better to stick with Philip Scholfield and billionaires dying on idiotic submarine holidays.Raid wrote: ↑Wed Jun 21, 2023 5:23 pmMy biggest takeaway from it is that it feels like a bit of a design flaw that a submersible cannot be opened by the occupants.

Re: Aaand, In Other News...
My take would be that the entire thing is one huge design flaw, you could not pay me 250k to climb inside that thing and head to those kinds of depths which evidently it was not built for - other than being an instant death trap you voluntarily offered to be inside and paid for the horrific experience. Nobody wants to say they are already gone, but the plain and simple fact is that they probably are and did the moment they lost direct contact. Air was only a single factor of the number of things that could have gone wrong.
The controller memes - yeah I get it but they just honestly make me a little sad.

Bored rich people who want to risk their lives going to the bottom of the sea or into space, utterly bizarre. If I had an enormous wealth, trust me, I would not be bored!!
