Building the future, and keeping the past alive - are one and the same thing.

New updates include vehicle combat, a revised upgrade system and your clothes are no longer armour so you can wear what you want. Sounds like it might be worth a replay.

Yeah I'm holding off to start anew, no mods. I won't have a new PC to enjoy it on, unfortunately, that has to wait until next year at the earliest, boo
If Edwin's being an Edwin does he call himself an Edwin?

There was a 30Gb update so I restarted a new game as a street kid hoping the new features would be in effect. Apparently not as it's still a bit ropey on the Xbox but I'm enjoying it all the same. Luckily I remember very little so it's sort of new experience.

The new combat almost reminds me of Dishonored with all the fast movement. Vehicle combat looks like fun as well.

Phantom Liberty getting good reviews, so I've splashed out on it. Combined with the huge changes in the 2.0 version, I think that justifies a full replay.

Very excited for this, but Iβm going to hold off for a week and treat myself to it as a birthday present. Also Iβm not done with Starfield yet!

I am
I may go back to it at some point in the future, but with so many games around I'm excited to play it's not a hard decision to prematurely abort one I'm finding just a bit dull.

Yeah, itβs not for everybody. Iβm undoubtedly its target audience, so Iβll be soldiering on through the jank.

Am I right in thinking they're retroactively applying a lot of the gameplay changes to the base game too?
Re: Cyberpunk 2077 [PC, PS4, XBone] - out September 17 2020
Yeah, sounds like there are huge, fundamental changes in 2.0. In many ways it sounds like a completely different game.

Good. I've tried starting the original multiple times now and very quickly lose interest. The skill system is part of that, as it's incredibly uninspiring. The cyberware system I don't think offers much at the start of the game either. It ends up just feeling like a regular shooter.

Yeah, those two systems in particular have been massively overhauled, apparently. Plus clothes are just cosmetic now so you don't have to dress like a lunatic to get a decent armour ratingRaid wrote: βThu Sep 21, 2023 3:59 pmGood.
