Its kind of news.... 30% off a new CoD a month after release. Normally you dont get that till 2 years out. Thats when you know its a bad one!

It's still not enough to get me to jump. £40 for basically the same game I'm already playing? Pass.

What's made it worse is the absolute travesty of UX. A regular experience in CoD now is to launch "CoD HQ", which then says it needs an update and restarts. Then it moans about shaders. When I click on MWII, it closes HQ and launches the actual game I want to play, which tells me it has an update and needs to restart… and then needs to compile its separate shaders.

Last night there was an unskippable video I had to sit through, for a game I don't even own! Fuckin' idiots.

I got Modern Warfare for cheap on the Xbox a while back and it was a fucking shit show to get running. Just wanted the single player but had to download everything including the battle royale mode that nobody was playing. The eventual install size was insane.

Sucks because TLoU1 multiplayer was great.

The best thing about CoD is how it handles crossplay. If you use a controller on PC you matchmake to console players. Console players (I believe) can plug in M&K and matchmake on the PC servers. Its excellent and should be the standard for all games. These free weekends tend to be enough to get the CoD out of my system. I get the itch, then "free weekend" and I come out thinking nah I dont need that anymore.

If you have ever been even remotely curious now is your time to give it a try. Turn off the hud explore freely and use map to navigate and you will have a fun time. Just be sure to pick action mode.

I think people outside the MMO scene would have to have heard of this game for it to be the next Day Before.

I think people are right to be sceptical about the claims being made but the developer has put out a game in the past that was fairly well received in the Turkish market.
