One thing I've noticed. Making a post, there's often a delay of 3 or 4 seconds for the post to go through. Generally, seems more sluggish to me than the old forum, which had instant posting for me.

What theme are you using? I'm on Clean-Edits and it's basically instantaneous for me and my phone connection isn't even that solid at the moment because I'm on a coach.

Yeah, Clean Edits for me. Just doesn't load instantly like PW. I use Firefox.

I can live with it.

EDIT: It loaded fine on this post. Seems a bit intermittent for me.

Does the notifications tab in the top right corner display anything for anybody else?

If I click on it, the drop down list shows people who've quoted me - but there's no way of knowing that without clicking on it (typically on forums it shows a different colour, or an icon overlay, or a number next to it, etc).

Yeah, I see a little red circle to the right of where it says 'notifications', to alert me I've got a new one.

Yeah, I don't see that in either Firefox or Chrome.

EDIT: The private messages icon works when I receive a PM, but I never see the icon next to notifications...

Erm, scratch that. Appears to be working fine now.

On layout of the forum itself, is there a way to disable the quick reply box at the bottom?
I've added the ability to toggle quick reply on and off for Revolution, Pycode and prosilver but it isn't currently working with Clean-Edits. Will look into that more tomorrow.

Is there going to be a consensus on the default colour scheme? I'm just wondering whether bright blue fits the theme of The Gamer's Arms.

The other themes should be fine to use for now if you're not keen on the brightness of this one. Once I've sorted out the other bits and bobs that need doing I'll throw it open to suggestions for what colour schemes people want added. The themes currently have a few wrinkles that I need to iron out before I start making large changes to colour sheets.

I know I said that everyone should stick to Clean-Edit, but I'm using Revolution at the moment because it feels more nostalgic. ¬_¬

I seem to have lost the logo in the banner this morning for some reason...

That'll be one of the wrinkles. ¬_¬

It's still working on the default theme on desktop, but seems to totally break the width of the forum on Firefox on mobile (but not Chrome :-k ).

The site might be in flux for a few days whilst I make sure everything works properly on each theme.

Yeah, that's fine. Tinker away!

I've notice Firefox has been a bit temperamental the last couple of updates. Pages not loading properly all the time, across all kinds of sites. I'm having to refresh pages quite often.

Think I've fixed it. Hard refresh and load a few pages to test.
