Doug's a classic forum hibernator.

He's was active up until mid-December, which is to be expected what with the mild Winter and all. So like you say Sly we should see him surface around mid-March or perhaps April, fully revitalised and ready for more Prince of Persia.

:)
Let's just hope when he wakes up he doesn't see a shadow, thus foretelling six more weeks of winter.

Punxatawny Doug.

I'll almost certainly give it a go, unless it requires comms. We don't do comms...

I might even pick something other than the barbarian for once. New year, new fantasy character with a vaguely lewd name.

THE FIVE-YEAR WINTER IS OVER!

It's time for a board game update.

Current favourites:
  • Wiz-War 9th Edition
  • Drakborgen*
  • Talisman 5th Edition
All of these have come out within the last three years, though all of them are remakes of classics from the 1980s.

You may also be aware of the HeroQuest remake from 2021. Hasbro are about to release a new version of it next month called First Light, which is essentially the same game, but with 2D cardboard standees instead of plastic miniatures. I'm definitely picking this up when it's out.

*I think DRAKBORGEN has good potential for a forum game, actually. I'll think about that in due course...
Le vieux monde se meurt, le nouveau monde tarde à apparaître et dans ce clair-obscur surgissent les monstres.
