Well I feel like I really ought to have some form of clothing if only for decency's sake, so I'll buy some fur armour for 20s.
That only leaves me with 2s so I'll buy two portions of chewing tobacco, as that strikes me as funny for some reason

I have 100 silver, so I’m going to sell my fur armour and mace to recoup 45, then buy chain mail and a shield for 120.
That leaves me with 25, with which I’ll buy a rope, a torch, a tent, a mattress and a blanket (I am royalty, you know - comfort is paramount).
Out of interest, how big is the tent? Is it big enough that it’s going to be awkward if I don’t let other people inside during a storm?

The rules don't specify tent sizes...but, given that the game assumes one person can carry them, and the cost, it's probably a one-man + gear + pet sized tent. Though you could probably cram another PC inside, so long as they didn't wriggle about too much. ¬_¬

Just 15 sodding silver to my name!
I'll sell my short sword for 20 and buy the hand axe(15). Presuming I can use my collection of sharp stones as ammo I'll get a sling(8), a blanket(4), cat(3) and lockpicks(5).
The cat is named Scrotvm and he's a ruthless little cvnt.

Smart!
With Presence +3, you're an excellent shot as well.

Don't forget firesteel, with which to light it!

Can be used to stave off hunger I think.

I'm sure with my mound of lard and ability to conjure food from thin air that will be incredibly useful

Plus my cats ability to catch rats, food probably won't be an issue for the group. Explosive diarrhea and intestinal parasites might be though.

In that case I'll swap the blanket for the firesteel.

Being a former hermit and having just got a cat, I'm going to embrace the lifestyle and constantly jammer on about the cute things he did that day around the evening campfire. I'll probably randomly hand out very crudely drawn images of me holding the cat and wait expectantly for a response.

Margar will probably be genuinely interested and entertained, but will quickly resume an air of regal cynicism due to the disapproving looks from his judgemental horse.
Also, I imagine Margar carries all his equipment himself rather than in saddle bags, and he's only allowed to ride the horse if it's absolutely necessary.

I had imagined Lord Margar, being a lazy nobleman, would expect the horse to carry everything for him, much to Barbarister's annoyance.
