MÖRK BORG: Anyone up for a game?

I think I'm missing the shield I bought.

This first action thing, do we just make up what takes our fantasy? Or is there something I've missed?

Yeah, just whatever you want to do. Pretend you're in the world and act out what your character would say or do. I mean, going inside the chapel is the simplest and most direct action, but outside is a chance to say or do something to introduce your now active character into the world.
Ultimately, this is a collectively told story.

Oh dear...
My imagination is so stuck inside the world of our game that I actually convinced myself it was raining outside in real life just now, when it isn't!

Nothing really to do with current game but there seems to be a spin off called Cy Borg. Basically a cyberpunk version. Sounds fun as well.

There is. Mörk Borg and CY_Borg are the two official Borg games from Stockholm Kartell, but there's a ton of other variations now made by fans, such as Pirate Borg, Frontier Scum, and many more.

Sign up here for Chapter 2!
The options are:
State your preference, and willingness to continue the campaign.
The options are:
- Follow the map (found on the corpse of the screaming hag) back to castle Risten, home of Baron Risten. Is it abandoned? What is going on over there?
- Follow the lead of the 'Mad Manifesto' (found on the poisoned corpse): head south to Traurish and aid (and abet) the Scions of Schleswig in finding High King Lorter and return him to Schleswig, which may result in civil war.
- Immediately return the Staff of Awful Light to Tünstal and see what might come of it.
State your preference, and willingness to continue the campaign.

I'm up for continuing, though I have found it a bit difficult to keep up with the pace of the forum thread. I've quite often only found the time to respond with an action rather than any roleplaying in order to not feel like I'm holding everyone up.

You're not holding anyone up; feel free to roleplay as much as you like.

I think my vote might be to follow the mad hag's map to Castle Risten, and find out what's going on there.

Fechr doesn't understand the term "manifesto", but can understand a map and the possibility that the X equals shiny things.
Re: MÖRK BORG: Anyone up for a game?
I feel a bit the same, been a few times in episode 1 where I have realised on reading the thread that I have been holding up proceedings, and I don't want to do that. At the same time I am thoroughly enjoying reading it all unfold and everyone's antics. Happy to continue but also happy to be sidelined if potential delays to posting are spoiling the flow for anyone at all. Or happy for Doug to guide any instances of a rudderless Grin to keep things moving should it be needed.

I agree, and I think I'd want to spend some time while travelling to inspect the staff and figure out what exactly its powers are before I take it back to the village. Its name is somewhat... ominous.
Re: MÖRK BORG: Anyone up for a game?
In terms of helping with the pacing, I have a couple of suggestions. Either:
- we keep up the current pace but aren't beholden to completing full turns as such, and those who aren't on as regularly chime in as and when they can/wish to, or...
- we maintain the system of a full turn consisting of everyone taking an action, but only aim to do a full turn once every day (or two days, whatever works best for everyone), so those who aren't on as regularly continue to play a full part in the action but don't have to feel like they're holding things up
