Immediately, Fechr and Lord Margar scramble to pick up the fallen daggers. Using these, they set upon the unarmed skeleton. Unfortunately, as there is no flesh to pierce, their attacks fail to do any real harm [it's DR14 to hit these guys with a bladed weapon]
Giant Dances the Sea simultaneously picks up warden Wemut's oil lantern — the only source of light in the area — and hurls it straight at the dagger-wielding skeleton! The lamp strikes it in the chest, cracking some bones, then subsequently smashes, pouring burning oil all over it! The skeleton staggers forwards a bit, then collapses in a burning wreckage of charred bone and boiled blood.
Meanwhile, Malaiz closes his eyes and concentrates on his training as an Initiate of the Invisible College; seconds later he has summoned two magical scrolls, one into each of his hands.
They are:
Enochian Syntax (sacred scroll)
- Compel any creature to blindly obey a single command
Nine Violet Signs Unknot the Storm (unclean scroll)
- Produce d2 lightning bolts, dealing d6 damage each
Malaiz knows that each of these summoned scrolls can only be used once, before they burn into oblivion.
The blood-drenched skeletons, distracted by the assaults, are slow to attack, and each of the party may now perform another action!

Le vieux monde se meurt, le nouveau monde tarde à apparaître et dans ce clair-obscur surgissent les monstres.
