Ah, I was under the impression that ATC was directing both aircraft, but it seems they were warning the helicopter rather than otherwise. I too stand corrected.

There's a new video which shows the Blackhawk apparently stationary (or moving slowly towards/from the camera, possibly) while the plane descends into it, which I think demonstrates at least that the plane's pilots wouldn't have been able to see it until the last second.

The Blackhawk is the one travelling left-right in those shots, he's certainly not stationary. I think the airliner co-pilot should have been able to see the spot the Blackhawk was in, at least until a few moments before impact (I can't be certain though as civilian aircraft aren't really my thing), but it's called a Blackhawk for a reason, and it was night, so I can't imagine it would have been easy to spot. What I'm 100% certain of though is that airliners have whopping great landing lights and I absolutely cannot imagine how the Blackhawk pilot missed them unless he was nose-down in his instruments.

That's how it obviously should be, and in the UK it would be. I just cannot fathom how military aircraft not under the control of ATC are allowed to be anywhere near the glideslope of a major civilian airport, it seems like such an obvious place to avoid.

I've seen video of it. The thing hits the ground like a meteor; it's pointing straight at the earth and it doesn't look like it was throttled back, which suggests to me that the aircraft was largely intact but the flight crew were unconscious as aircraft that have broken up don't really move like that. Either the pilot had zero control authority or just wasn't pulling up.

(can you tell I have a somewhat morbid fascination with aircraft disasters? I've always had an interest in aviation, moreso military than civil, but events like this are always interesting to someone with an engineering mindset as the level of research that goes into them tends to lead to significant progress in design or risk management. There's a Redditor named AdmiralCloudberg who posts a lot of detailed run-throughs of events like this after the official reports have come to conclusions, which are always interesting reads.)

There is a reason they want Kashyap Patel as head of FBI, and it's not a good one. He was part of the planning for what pre-J6 was intended to be, along with the Flynn retinue: Powell, Raiklin, Giuliano et al, desperate to get a DNI report on foreign election interference to back up the idea they could use EO#13848 to re-run an election using USAID, which they were waiting to implement, but thankfully a delay in release of the report meant it was averted, so the riot was PlanB, so that they could exact Martial Law, but "antifa" didn't turn up. He will be part of the revision process reframing the Big Lie and demonising all who worked to exposed it.

If you listen to the ATC, there’s a transmission which is difficult to hear, but seems to say “You’re fucking with the wrong people”, and the voice sounds different to earlier transmissions from the medevac plane. Too early to draw any conclusions, but my guess is someone crashed it intentionally.

This will no doubt be spun into "Look at what these terrible foreigners are doing to the American economy!". All affected countries should use this opportunity to completely fuck over Trump and co, but that will never happen. Looks like the people who are supposed to stop all this from happening in the US government are just quitting or doing nothing.

Musk having access to ALL government payments is just astonishing — he has no proper security clearance for a start — and the guardrails of government have proven to be non-existent when a malignancy such as this refuses to abide. Even payments to competitors. Astonishing. Dem leadership is indeed absent. This doesn't end with anything other than violence, how long until that is the question.
