Malaiz just witnessed their weird little companion vanish into thin air and just as suddenly reappear. He wonders if he somehow pierced the vail of reality with that trust of his finger. He gives it another experimental shove, much to the distress of Margar.

Meanwhile, the sound of violent combat ceases from the throne-room.

But there's still some noise of movement coming from within.
My fire is more than can be made with forests,
My state more base than are the basest valleys;
I wish no evenings more to see, each evening;
Shamed, I hate myself in sight of mountains,
And stop mine ears, lest I grow mad with music.

I'll slip the door open a tiny bit and peer in.

Margar hopes beyond hope that's not a euphemism.

Malaiz opens the door to the throne room and sees the five original undead standing around. They've smashed up Giant's blood-drenched skeleton minions and they've made mincemeat out of their leader who mysteriously attacked them without warning.

(I ran the outcome of this fight through two different AIs, and both resulted with the same outcome, based on probability)

Dang, had hoped our combined spells might have at least whittled down their numbers a bit :(

Alas, the combined combat-power of the five undead overwhelmed everyone you sent against them.

BUT, you did defeat the 'big bad', so in a round-about way, at least Malaiz' spell served a purpose.

Yours just sent you on a very weird trip!

So we've got a bit of a fight on our hands then, unless anyone can think of something clever to avoid/mitigate it...

Tactics-wise, I wonder if funnelling them through the doorway with Margar in the front and myself and Malaiz providing ranged support (the crossbow I grabbed looks pretty powerful), would be the best idea?

Also, Margar has that bear-trap, that might be able to put a serious dent in one of them as they get to the doorway...

Quite the strategic thinker, Precious is. I think you should make him Lord Tünstal instead of Margar!

Giant is in the middle of a vivid hallucination that he is a decorated general, sitting astride a giant (and headless) dove... :lol:

In reality, all of these instructions came out as elaborate hand-gestures and giggles.
